The title of this post comes from a P.S. note in a letter from the Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer to his American friend Robert Bly.
It returned my mind to the expression “Ideology over Evidence” which has, in more recent times, been repeatedly used by British academic psychiatrists, many of whom are paid opinion leaders. It seems that this expression is considered not to apply to those using it. Hmm.
