Roseberry steading

Roseberry Steading sits a couple of miles out of the village of Temple in Lothian, Scotland.

It must be a very long time since its clock tower last ticked.

As a filmmaker I was drawn to its architectural outline. The repeating spires and twin gate-pier Obelisks. It is spiky, perpendicular and symmetrical.

This is an artistic film and kind of experimental.

If the film has a message it is stand up tall and be proud of who you are. Insist you are understood for your full self in full height. Be a bit spiky if you want. Challenge doctrines if your experience suggests to you that you should.

Please note: I made this film in late summer, 2014. Roseberry steading has since been restored.
