This description of the dissemination of the 5-year-long-Pharma-sponsored ‘Defeat Depression Campaign’ comes from a letter made in response to concerns raised by fellow psychiatrists [Psychiatric Bulletin, September 1994].
Nearly three decades later, and neither the Royal College of Psychiatrists nor the Royal College of General Practitioners have made available any of the surviving archive of this extensive campaign.
