Trial by Anecdote

In December 1990, Michael O’Donnell, doctor, journalist, author and broadcaster offered in the BMJ his take on a Dispatches television programme titled ‘The Prozac File‘. This can be read in full here.

Several letters, by a range of correspondents, were then published in the BMJ, including this one by  Dr Ian Oswald, Professor of Psychiatry, Edinburgh University:
