an accidental find

I have been fixing my auld Land Rover: fitting a new door and ‘anti-burst’ locks. In doing so I required a range of spanner sizes in both metric and imperial measures. In looking for a small spanner I came across an old fold-up wallet of spanners, and to my surprise, out of one of the pockets I found an old leaf of the prescription pad of my father-in-law.

Dr David T Williams was a GP in Perth and was based at 4 Atholl Crescent. Sadly, David died earlier this year. How we miss him. David’s wife Eileen was also a doctor [they met at St Andrew’s when studying medicine]. Eileen died suddenly in 2021. Life is not the same without this extraordinary couple.
