More than a year on . . .

More than a year on and Scotland still has no Patient Safety Commissioner [as reported in The Sunday Post, 2 May 2022]:

The Scottish Government is always keen to present itself as “progressive”. However, here, yet again we find backwardness. Meantime, anybody living with harm as a result of medical or surgical interventions has no advocate in a meaningful and accountable position. As for “taking into account” those “directly affected”, my fear is that the Government may respond in a similar way to the consultation on Sunshine Legislation:
