On certainty and uncertainty

Over the course of my 25 year career as a doctor I have come across a human need for certainty. However, it is my view that in trying to be a good doctor one needs to appreciate uncertainty. Without this ‘real authority’ may not be real.

One of the reasons I like Art is that it does not lecture you to get its message across. It does not argue or insist. It leaves much open to interpretation.
