“The Living Mountain” is a wonderful book. It has its own naturalistic style.
This Scotland on Sunday review of a recently published biography of Nan Shepherd encouraged me to order it. I cannot help being fascinated by the lives of others.
I am currently making (I mean creating) a series of films on the Cabrach. This is a remote part of northern Scotland and apart from the most wealthy landlord and his Gamekeepers it is now almost completely depopulated.
