No longer a doctor

I have decided to retire from Medicine. This has not been an easy decision to make. I am not yet 52 years old.

I feel most fortunate to have had a career in Medicine, a career that has spanned quarter of a century.

I began my career with textbooks. Twenty-five years on, I find that I have learned more from those who have consulted me than any Text book could begin to translate into words or numbers.
