It was an expressive silence

One of my next poems will be on Dickson’s Close, Edinburgh. It will be narrated by a paperboy [when I was young I used to deliver the Edinburgh Evening News]What follows is material from the archives that I have collected to help me write a poem. I intend to title this poem: ‘It was an expressive silence’.
