Notes: This short film is a piece of art, it is madcap, deliberately so. Like many of my films it contains personal references, such as my childhood joy in watching Mr Benn on colour television [that he could go to a shop and dress up, go on adventures, and be somebody else]. These are the sort of sustaining memories that can help us get through when bad things happen in life [after all, shit happens]. This film, as much of my artwork does, looks backwards [we live our lives forward, but we understand them backward]. My film ends with a question in relation to a hope for the future. This film is titled as it is because we should all celebrate the bright colours of our selves.
