In Lagganallachie auld churchyard, Perthshire, there is this tombstone in the shape of a bird bath/table. Around the rim it reads “FOR THE BIRDS SHE LOVED SO MUCH”:
This delightful tombstone was raised by Lieutenant Colonel Torquil Mcleod in memory of his dear wife Esme Laugharne McLeod [1881-1952]. Their home was Lagganallachie.
