Direct and picturesque route to the Highlands

On the last Thursday of February 2019 Sian drove us across the Logierait Bridge which is now in community ownership.

The Logierait viaduct was built as part of The Highland Railway’s branch from Ballinluig to Aberfeldy. It was opened in 1865.

The branch closed in 1965 and the viaduct became a road bridge.

Sian was born in 1965 the year that the bridge was closed as a railway. The river Tay is a most beautiful river.
