Our daughter has flown free of the nest to study Maths at the University of St Andrews.
My recall of my life as a student (so long ago) seems still vivid. Whats stays with me is wonderful friendship, even though I was haplessly struggling to find a ‘meridian line’ that did not exist.
Lines can be curves, and beautiful curves can ‘give way’ to astonishing tangents.
