Last Sunday I was in Edinburgh taking my mum to the Eye Pavilion where she was having a cataract removed. The day was warm and sunny and I had a chance to explore and take photographs. The first thing to catch my eye was this beautiful small poster attached to a lamp post on the corner of Keir Street and Lauristion Place. It is rather stylishly designed with clever use of typeface. With words lie ‘bEATAMAX’, ‘DISCO’ and ‘new wave’ it evoked its very own nostalgia!
