Glen Girnock was hame to my Gordon family: The Camlet and Bovaglie. I have written a book about this.
As a family we have walked, explored and enjoyed picnics in Glen Girnock. On one occasion my daughter Rachel held open a gate for Queen Elizabeth II. Some years later I wrote this short poem about this brief meeting:
