Unusually for a Mausoleum, William Dun chose to put windows in it. Before his death he apparently joked: “Won’t it be fine to look out on resurrection day and see all you poor Fintry folk trooping by”

All of the above advertisements featured in the Glasgow Herald the day that William Dunn died.
May I ask who Mr. Dun was and what kind of work he performed or what his title was?
He was one of the ‘directors’ of the Glasgow Herald. I don’t think that he had a title.
