Yesterday, in my old Land Rover I ventured forth to explore some of ‘forgotten’ Carronside.
Beyond Mid Balgerno the going got tough. The road/track to Stoneyinch had become subsumed by gorse. Realising that I could go no further I ‘parked’ SVS 978 in a field.
I walked to Stoneyinch and then Buckieside. This being a memorial venture.
On my way home, in trying to avoid the gorse-overwhelmed track, I took SVS 978 into a neighboring field. Here SVS 978 traversed a bog only to be defeated by a boundary dyke.
Stranded, I walked on to Middle Barnego. Here, Andrew came to my rescue.
