I have put together this montage from two sources:
(1) The graphic image of St Andrew’s House [the headquarters building of the Scottish Government] featured on the cover of ‘The Future of Scotland’ which was published in 1939 just after St Andrew’s House had been completed.
(2) The description of St Andrew’s House is by Colin McWilliam as found in the 1983 edition of Edinburgh: An Illustrated Architectural Guide.
