This film is about Reverend George Gilfillan of Dundee. His two best friends called him ‘Digamma’.

George Gilfillan was born in 1813 and died in 1878. A monument to him can be found on Balgay Hill in Dundee with the inscription “Critic, Poet and Divine”
This film is based on brilliant friendships. Dr John Flaxman is my Digamma.
