Last week, on the way to Dundonnell, Peter and Big Ted travelled on ‘Destitution road’. We stopped at Fain, where there was once an Inn.

This photograph, for which there is no date, reveals the ruin of Fain Inn [on the left]. Only the building on the right survives [it later became a bothy] and is now full of interesting graffiti.
