I am planning for another wee adventure in my Land Rover: I hope to explore some of the lost and forgotten places in Sutherland.
One of the places I would like to visit is Aiteandoruis, Kyle of Sutherland:
This is how it is described in the original Ordnance Survey Book:
I suspect that I will find that there is no trace left of Aiteandoruis. However, I anticipate that it will have a beautiful view and that in just ‘being there’ I will be able to open an imaginary door to this!
Note: I have been unable to find any archival record, other than the Ordnance Survey details, in relation to Aiteandoruis.
