Sarah Mildred Clayton [born 1862] was admitted to Mavisbank Asylum on the 5th December 1902. She died two days later. Her death certificate records that her cause of death was “acute mania, 14 days; exhaustion, 2 days”:

Sarah’s father, a ‘Gentleman’ was from Great Dunmow. Her mother, Lydia was of the Tuke family:
