Provost Bayne’s Clock: the world has turned and turned.

The above Ordnance Survey map dates from 1913. It shows the newly erected Clock Tower for Provost Bayne.

Today:

For many years Provost Bayne’s Clock has been isolated inside a vehicular roundabout. Cars circle it constantly. The clock still ticks. The world keeps turning.
