On Saturday, Peter and Sian visited Comrie. It was ‘Doors Open Day‘ and we were keen to see the Charles Rennie MacKintosh designed shop. This old Draper and Ironmongery shop, Brough and MacPherson, is a rare survivor. Fortunately Landmark Trust has purchased the premises and as new custodians the future seems bright for 1 Dunira Street, Comrie.
Travelling in my old Series II Land Rover we arrived early: so we took the opportunity to drive up Glen Lednock. We had to stop to help pull a car out of a ditch. My auld Land Rover did braw!
Back in Comrie, we spotted anither auld Land Rover. So I parked beside it and took a photo: two auld bangers:
