This view by a professional suggests that problems/difficulties coming off psychotropics relate to the patient and not the drug.
I am not on Twitter/X but can, like anyone who wishes to, read some statements that have been posted on Twitter/X. I cannot follow threads. One of the reasons that I have not had a Twitter/X account myself, for nearly a decade, is the potential for unintentional misapprehensions and misunderstandings. I also dislike the polarisation of debate and well-recognised tendency for people to use denigratory language that they would not use in other circumstances.
I have been made aware that my original post referring specifically to antidepressants was incorrect. I apologise to Professor Howard for this misapprehension and have edited my post accordingly.
