Imperial College London: a response from the Research Integrity Officer

The recipient of this letter shared it with a number of people, including me, who have an interest in the role of transparency in scientific integrity. It struck me as a remarkably clear exposition of the enmeshment of research and industry and the complete denial that competing interests can by this route influence ‘science’.  The recipient agreed with my suggestion that a wider audience might be interested in reading it:
