This was ‘Picture of the Day’ in yesterday’s Scotsman. It is of Hundy Mundy in the Scottish Borders.
A story has survived that a Princess called ‘Hunimundias’ lived in the tower, but because the children of Mellerstain House struggled to pronounce Hunimundias, it became known as ‘Hundy Mundy’.
I visited Hundy Mundy on the last day of March 2017 and made this film:
