This homemade film is for Ella Rae (a dear friend whose voice closes the film), Catriona my older sister, and Rachel my daughter.
Ella Rae died some years ago. I miss her.
This film has many credits and please forgive me if I may have forgotten any.
It is important to note that what I make is non-commercial. I have no interest in making money from any of my films. I have an interest in transient art that may influence cultural development.
This film is primarily based on old photographs of Glasgow taken by Raymond Depardon [I do not have copyright for any of Raymond’s wonderful mages]
Music track: ‘Bluebell, Cockleshell, 123’ – From Scotland with Love – by King Creosote [I do not have copyright]
The archive film clip is from the Scottish Screen Archive (Alexander McCall Smith currently has copyright for this clip]
The voices on this film come from BBC Radio broadcasts of past years, and include Mark Lythgoe [on love] and Boyd [on photography]
