This short film is based on a Radio Scotland interview with Professor Alison Britton who chaired the Investigative Review into the Scottish Independent Review of transvaginal mesh implants. In a sense this was a ‘Review of a Review’.
It is almost three years since a public consultation supported the introduction of a Sunshine Act for Scotland. How many more inquiries and consultations will it take for the Scottish Government to take meaningful action to ensure that patients are fully informed of Industry influence in the treatment they may be offered?
