Last Thursday we were lucky enough to be in the audience of Mairi Campbell who was performing Auld Lang Syne at the Macrobert Arts Centre, Stirling. It was most special and if you get a chance to go you will spend a most lovely hour with Mairi.
Mairi Campbell was born in 1965, the same year as my wife Sian. Mairi grow up in the same part of Edinburgh as my mother. Mairi met her husband Dave Francis on the island of Lismore: the ‘Great Garden’.
