‘The mansion house and all its numerous appurtenances’

Lochrosque house used to sit above the shore of Loch a Chroisg just west of Achnasheen. It is not clear when it was demolished and today only the the stable block remains. The walled gardens have long since been abandoned.

Lochrosque belonged to a Conservative MP called Sir Arthur Bignold. It was his pride and joy.
