Follow a line. Follow an idea. Follow a story. Follow a rhythm

The A68 trunk road still connects Scotland to England and England to Scotland.

On Dun Law hill a solitary abandoned Inn has always caught my eye. Today the only neighbour it has, for miles around, is the surrounding wind farm.

I have struggled to find any archive material to reveal the story of this Inn other than it was known as Huntershall and in 1855 the Innkeeper was Thomas Crooks.

The song is a cover of Blurs “To the End” by Little Boots.

Borrowed words are from Edmund De Waal, Matt Haig and Madeleine Thien
