The A68 trunk road connects Scotland to England and England to Scotland.
On Dun Law hill a solitary abandoned Inn has always caught my eye. Today the only neighbour it has, for miles around, is the surrounding wind farm.
I have struggled to find any archive material to reveal the story of this Inn other than it was known as Huntershall and in 1855 the Innkeeper was Thomas Crooks.
