This film begins with Professor Ian C Reid asking, in 2010:
“why antidepressants might upset people so much, and why are they so demonised?”
This film shares some of my experience of withdrawal from paroxetine, a drug that I was commenced on for social anxiety.
The film relates to the period of time between 2004 to 2005. This is the only time I have ever been in hospital. My children were then wee. It was walking through Queen’s Park, Glasgow, with a friend called Jamie, that kept me going.
