Why I have decided to leave Social Media

I have been asked by a few friends why I decided to leave Social Media.

For sometime I had a twitter account @PeterDLROW but I closed this account on the last day of 2014.

There are several reasons why I have decided to leave social media behind however the primary one is that as an NHS employee in Scotland I do not feel safe in using social media.

The personal consequences for me in raising ethical considerations on twitter to try and help improve care for our most elderly have been most significant.

I will miss Twitter for sharing with others my many interests which include film-making, the arts, architecture, medical humanities and most things outdoors.
