This is the beginning of a letter that was published in yesterday’s Scotsman. It referred to public discussion relating to a senior parliamentarian. In the increasingly ‘toxic’ world of politics, particularly in the digital age, it is unsurprising that misrepresentation is increasingly common. Whilst it is disheartening that this is happening in politics, I am even more disappointed to see medical professionals use similar tactics, particularly on social media.
