This rapid response by Dr Peter J. Selley was recently submitted to the BMJ. It would be helpful if those involved at a senior level in National Suicide Prevention strategies might reply and make clear what efforts are being made to look at the potential for prescribed drugs to contribute to self -injury and suicidal ideation.
