Extracts from the Scotsman review of ‘A swim in a pond in the rain’ by George Saunders:
This is a film about a house that was called ‘Rockville’. It was built by the architect James Gowans at the end of Napier Road, Edinburgh. Rockville was demolished in the late 1960’s. Only it’s gateposts survive.
