An eccentric farmer’s tombstone

I came across this account printed in the Huntly Express of the 29th June 1900. It describes how an old tombstone was found in the chimney of the farm of Easter Darbreich:The ‘flighty’ tombstone inscription relates to the family of an eccentric farmer called ANDREW WILSON who made himself wings to fly over Rathven. Alas he did not fly and his tombstone was used to support the chimney of a neighbouring farmhoose.
