Several trees in our garden have grown very large including a silver birch tree by our pond. Yesterday this tree had some major surgery as several limbs were potentially dangerous, and at risk of falling in storms.
A long time ago I carved 4.04 into the trunk of this tree. Our son Andrew was born at 4.04 am [in another place in our garden I carved 6.26, the time that Rachel, our daughter, arrived into this world].
