“Advertising works!”

“Advertising works! This is why it is important for there to be a separation between science and industry, as well as clinical practice and industry.”

Meantime, in the UK, the Royal College of Psychiatrists has already secured a wide range of advertising (from financial sponsors) for its 2020 International Congress to be held in Edinburgh. The Royal College of Psychiatrists describes this as “one of the most prestigious mental health events in the world” and was attended in 2019 by over 3,400 delegates.  The Royal College of Psychiatrists states that the congress “attracts local, national and international delegates from various professional backgrounds” and that “It is the ideal opportunity for psychiatrists . . . to ensure they are up to date with the latest findings in mental health.”
