My great-aunt, Sally Scott, died earlier this year just short of her 82nd birthday. By letter, phone, and later also by e-mail, we shared years of correspondence. Sally was such a wonderful, bright, honest, and articulate person and I miss our ‘happy highways’ of communication.
Sally Scott’s brother, Dr Guy Scott, was President of Zambia, 2014-2015.
In 2006 Sally sent me her truly special memoir, that she had called “The land of lost content”.
Sally Scott, born 5 May 1936, Abercorn, Zambia, died 21 April 2018.
