It is sad then to read this quote by the Chair of the Royal College of General Practioners Scotland, in one of today’s Sunday newspapers:

We all realise that this is a most difficult problem, however I find – when it comes to the responses of the ‘official Government spokesperson’ – that I am reminded of a sentence in Serious Sweet by A.
