The Francis Report was published recently. I was particularly interested in the following excerpt:

In his Report, Robert Francis gives:

I was a Consultant in one NHS Board for 13 years until I resigned in the summer of 2014. I then applied for a post in another Board. I was the only candidate but was unsuccessful. The  same post has now been re-advertised.
