The above sketch was by William Stratford Percy (1872–1946) a stage comedian who also appeared in a number of short films.

William Stratford Percy made most of his sketches of Aberdeen during 1931 and 1932 when he was at His Majesty’s Theatre with “Tommy Lorne and His Whoopmakers“. [The Silver Vault]
