As a family we are fortunate to live beside a play-park and a bowling green.
From our garden we can hear the competitive, yet encouraging roars of experienced bowlers as one team dressed in summer-white challenges another.
From our garden we can hear the excited chatter/rhymes/song of children playing and [not infrequently] tears as they are told that it is time to go home by mum, dad or grandparents! Last week the play-park had pretend road-signs added to its child-size pathways. The signs have been beautifully done and will add to the experience of play, so necessary for a life lived safely and well.
