We have an old stone wall that sweeps around our garden. In the twenty years that we have lived in Mossgrove, this wall has had a wooden fence above it. The fence was getting very tired. So over the last few days Peter and Sian have taken it down.
Our garden may now be less private but it has a much better outlook to the play-park and bowling green.

Footnote:
When I was a doctor the British Journal of Psychiatry rejected an “editorial” that I had submitted on Iatrogenic Stigma. The reason given, by the sole peer reviewer, was that I had included “anecdote”.
Fortunately, a longer version of my paper on iatrogenic stigma was published in a less ‘institutional’ journal.
