Memory Lane

My base for wandering and wondering in the north east of Scotland was the Station Hotel, Insch. I was in the Dunnydeer room and had a window view to the hill and fort.

From Insch I visited a number of the gardens tended by Peter Gordon (1823-1885):

I was touched to find that the house on Forres High Street where Peter Gordon and his family lived was called “Memory Lane”
