A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.05pm on Thursday, 7 August, 2025, we were called to Allan Water near Allanvale and Fountain Road, Bridge of Allan following a report of concern for people in the water. Emergency services attended and carried out a search of the area.”
Later that day, in The Courier, Mid-Scotland & Fife MSP Alexander Stewart said : “Mercifully it appears that there are no fatalities at this time and the person found is receiving hospital treatment, however for their immediate reaction to this incident, I cannot commend the emergency services highly enough.”
