‘The Psychology of the Medical Profession’

I recently came across this letter published in the BMJ 81 years ago.

Dr Arthur Brock has been remembered as the physician who treated the poet Wilfred Owen for shell shock and as the translator of Galen and other physicians. Dr Brock was a close friend of Patrick Geddes: together they represented what has been termed a “humanist revival”:
